No confidence to look people in the eye?

Thought this was rare but after much observation I realized many people have this problem. What's with them, why do they seem to portray this lack of confidence? Here's my own explanation.

When you are walking down a street, you would have this thought that everyone or at least a handful of people are looking at you. Being human, we are very much self conscious and these people with rather low self esteem seem to react uncomfortably to it. This applies too when talking face to face with a person whom you are not very close with. Am I right? Here's my suggestion.

Why not try for once to look at a person in the eyes, start with someone whom are comfortable with and maybe it will help.

So ...semalam I ambik jeans kat Baleno. I try jeans dia ok ah.. Baliknya, I jalan kat depan kedai baru ni, I nampak notice yang dia nak orang so I tanya lelaki ni yang kerja kat situ. I kena tunggu call. alamak! tunggu call memang leceh ah! Besuk macam biasa. I tengok T.T. I dengar-dengar kat Jurong tapi tak tahu ah pukul berapa. pftt.... i pakai baju merah yang hari tu I beli kat Baleno punyalah ketat.. Tak selesa seh.. Actually I kena ambik size L ... ugh...!

Drop a hint: Try some subtle cues like turning off the music or blowing out candles.

Play barkeep: Tell everyone it's "last call!" at the bar.

Bribe them: If you have goody bags or favors, start handing them out.

Yawn: If all else fails, let out a light yawn, laugh, and say something like, "Oh, I guess that glass of wine made me a bit sleepy."

Send your other half to bed: Enlist your spouse to make polite apologies to the group and say that he or she has an early morning the next day and therefore has to hit the hay.

Someone tries to steal your cab by walking in front of you.

My dad is getting on my nerves and I can’t stand him. I try to avoid him whatever I can. Seriously! Whenever I was talking to my mum, I heard him giggling and saying something about me. He’s trying to be an ass! Ugh! Another 2 more days.. haha..
